Delaware
Delaware House and Senate approved Bill 162 in March 2024 to allow human composting. The bill is now on the Governor's desk to sign into law.
The Delaware House followed by the Senate approved Bill 162 allowing the composting of human bodies as an alternative to burial or cremation. The legislation has been sent to Governor John Carney to sign.
