HB-06485 to legalize human composting was introduced in the Connecticut General Assembly in January 2023.
HB-06485, concerning natural organic reduction and green burials, was introduced by Representative Keith Denning in January 2023. The bill advanced out of the state’s environment committee on March 9 but it has not received a vote in the General Assembly.
