Recompose raises funds from mission-driven investors
Investors in Recompose join a values-based company dedicated to preventing carbon emissions, creating healthy soil, and building ecological health through the transformation of the funeral industry.
Our business model is to build and operate facilities where bodies are transformed into soil. We charge a fee for this service. Precompose, our prepayment program, allows people to become future clients long before they die. Our expansion strategy includes licensing our proprietary green funeral technology to others around the world.
Recompose investors include early supporters who have added to their initial investments, clients of an excellent array of financial advisors, individuals who have found us and wanted to be part of our venture, and investment groups who share information and collaborate on investment opportunities. We have also received investments from donor-advised funds and family foundations.

Business Philosophy
Recompose believes that expansion is necessary to have the impact we want on the world – to change the emotional landscape around death care and create environmental wealth at the end-of-life. We can only do that if our system is available in many places, and our business model must support that growth. We are excited about making this growth happen.
