Melissa Kuzoian

Chief Financial Officer

Melissa (she/her) has over a decade of experience building regenerative, consumer-facing organizations. As CFO at Brooklyn Grange, a rooftop farm, events, and landscaping business in New York City, she helped grow the organization from a single location into a multi-site operation, expanding its team, revenue, and overall impact. As CFO of Recompose, she oversees the Company’s financial health and strategic direction, drives growth, and manages all financial functions. In both roles, Melissa has found it inspiring to work for organizations creating new ways for urban dwellers to connect with the beautiful and awe-inspiring cycles of the natural world.

Melissa has a bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University and a certification from the Wharton School of Business Emerging CFO Program. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, tending to her long haired dachshund Ruby and her many houseplants, taking long Sunday walks, and listening to live music.
