Lestat was born and raised in Laredo, TX, a border town where her family is rooted on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. As a first-generation American, she carries a deep appreciation for community and the connections that bring people together. The loss of her grandmother inspired Lestat’s journey into grief care, first through mortuary school and later in monument making, where she found purpose in creating meaningful works of art to honor loved ones. She also supported a small group of grieving women in Texas by helping with everything from furniture restoration to painting. Lestat spends most of her time with her wife, brother, and fur baby, Sunni. Her hobbies include experimenting with creating, hiking, cooking, and video games. She is passionate about tinkering with computers and embraces the spirit of a jack of all trade—always eager to learn and try something new.
