Donald B. Brown

March 10, 1929 - June 9, 2021

Donald B. Brown Jr. was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. After earning a BS and MS from MIT, he worked as a Boeing Aeronautical Engineer where he had a gift for mentoring new engineers into the profession. Don was an avid Northwest outdoorsman, woodworker, Harpsichord builder, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church choir member and lay reader. He will also be remembered for his signature Broccoli Main Dish.

Husband of MaryLou Brown, father of Leslie Brown Katz (Kerry, grandchildren Celia, Eli, and Elizabeth) and Jeff Brown (Vikki, grandson Ian). Don died at Skyline Memory Care at the age of 92. An Episcopal service will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to MIT Library, Western Washington Music Library, Seattle Youth Symphony Organization or Dementia Support NW of Bellingham, WA.
