Carol Irene Stewart (Kelsey)

January 20, 1937 – October 2, 2023

Carol died October 2nd, 2023 due to complications of an accident that occurred on September 21st, 2023. Carol was born on Jan. 20th, 1937 and raised on a rural farm in Neosho County, Kansas to Joseph M. Kelsey and Stella I. Kelsey (Warren).

She had one brother, six sisters most of whom have preceded in passing prior to her. Carol graduated high school in 1955 at Grant High School.

Carol married Perry W. Stewart, had six children (Ron, Tina, both deceased, Tony, Tim, Teresa, and Steven).  Carol’s adventurous spirit led her to travel in the USA; Exploring the backroads, and trails in the outdoors. For decades, she ran a small yard service business in which she enjoyed the opportunity to make the yards, or estate, more beautiful.

Carol is survived by a sister, four children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
