When you enroll in Precompose, the cost of Recompose’s human composting services is locked in at the time of purchase. As long as you continue making your scheduled payments, you’re protected from future price increases.
Additional services provided by Recompose or third party providers, such as ceremonies or transportation outside of our service area, are not guaranteed because costs may change over time due to factors like labor, fuel, and other expenses. However, if you choose to add funds for these services, the value of your plan may grow over time and help offset some future cost increases.
Note: Complimentary transportation of the body to Recompose is included from anywhere within our service area, which covers all of Washington State and the Portland metro area.
