Soil and Facilities Manager

Liz (she/her) is Seattle born and raised; coffee and salmon run in her blood and seas and mountains fill her heart. She’s worked a little bit of everything under the sun, from food service to food production, academics to operations, and even a little art on the side. Liz joins Recompose following ten years at University of Washington in the Maintenance and Construction group, where she focused on data, process and problem solving. She brings a blend of talents and energy and drive to make death care better.

When not at work, Liz can be found in her garden, keeping her greyhound Odo out of the lettuce with the help of her husband Spencer and her family of choice. She continues to give time to the rescue kennel, therapy dog work, and building local community in Everett.
