Judas (they/them) is thrilled to be a part of the Soil Team. Their work at Recompose aligns with their interests in sustainability and death care by returning our bodies back to the earth. Additionally, they’re feeling honored to work alongside passionate and creative people.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Judas moved out to the Pacific Northwest to get their bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Seattle University. They’ve previously worked as a landscaper, an in-home care provider, and as an early child and environmental educator.

They find comfort knowing that they have the opportunity to provide care and support for our deceased loved ones and their families. In their free time, they are an artist and amateur birder.
