Elaine (she/her) is honored to provide compassionate care and meaningful ceremonies to those we serve at Recompose. She is a licensed funeral director and certified celebrant with over a decade of experience in funeral service. She began her journey in death care in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and has since then lived and worked across the US in Missouri, Colorado, and now Washington. Her career has led her to become an advocate in natural and alternative death practices, helping people make educated and empowering decisions for themselves and their loved ones.Over the years, Elaine has dedicated her summers to volunteering at grief camps for children, which has been a highlight in her life.Elaine feels a deep and spiritual connection with nature and relishes hiking and camping. She has been involved in the performing arts for most of her life and enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, cooking, and a good cup of tea.
