Sara Moorehead

Sara’s background includes over three decades in marketing and communications, primarily for financial institutions and outdoor organizations in the US and UK. In 2019, she retired from her role as Senior VP of Cooperative Affairs at BECU (the largest consumer credit union in the US) and she became a certified end-of-life doula while sharing her career experience with clients through her business, Alchemy Communications. Prior to BECU, Sara was the Director of Corporate Affairs, Global/UK Retail & Commercial Banking for Barclays Bank in London from 2005 – 2010. She has also held leadership roles with US retail and commercial banks. Sara has extensive consulting experience primarily focused on strong business culture, change management, and M&A integrations. She received her BA in Psychology from Whitman College and has completed post-graduate studies at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge in England, and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

When away from her work projects, Sara can be found traveling the globe with her husband, Jeffrey, or hiking with her border collie, Gus.
