H6045 to legalize human composting was introduced in the Rhode Island House of Representatives on March 3, 2023.
H6045 was introduced in the House of Representatives on March 3, 2023 by Representatives McGaw, Ajello, Kazarian, Place, Kislak, Craven, Speakman, Cotter, Sanchez, and Carson but did not make it out of the House Corporations Committee. Representative McGaw will work to update the language and reintroduce the bill in 2024.
