Rep. Jack Lewis and Rep. Natalie Higgins are leading legislation to legalize human composting in Massachusetts.
In January, 2023, Representative Natalie Higgins and Representative Jack Lewis filed a new bill HD1224/SD898, An Act Expanding After-Death Care Options, to legalize human composting.
As the bill moves forward, we’ll share updates in our newsletter. Learn more about the initiative in this Boston Globe article from January 4, 2023.
