HB3158 to legalize human composting was introduced in the Illinois House of Representatives in February, 2023.
HB3158, the Natural Organic Reduction Regulation Act, was filed by Representative Kelly Cassidy on February 16, 2023. It has since garnered more than a dozen co-sponsors.
